This course will offer Basic Adult Leader Outdoor skills. This course is required for at least one registered Leader to conduct pack campouts. Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation also known as (BALOO) gives adult leaders the practical knowledge they need to conduct a proper pack campout. The skills presented are as follows; Health and Safety, planning a campout, Aims and Purposes, Equipment, and First Aid and Sanitation. The purpose of the course is to ensure that all leaders are familiar with the basic outdoor skills that are required to conduct a pack campout.
