Palisades District Merit Badge Fair

 The 2013 Merit Badge Fair will be a single day event.  The fair is designed to give a Scout a good start on the merit badge, not to be able to complete it while there.  Do not sign up a Scout who has completed everything but needs a counselor to sign off on the badge. Please have the Scout review the requirements for the merit badge before attending.

The following all day merit badges will be offered at the fair:

Cinematography
Citizenship in the Community
Citizenship in the Nation
Citizenship in the World
Communications
Dentistry
Emergency Preparedness
First Aid
Genealogy
Geocaching
Inventing
Personal Management

Half day classes

Family Life - AM only
Music - AM only
Computers - PM only
Scouting Heritage - PM only

Scoutmaster Fundamentals Training will be able for Adult Leaders who are not involved in instruction. It’s always good as a refresher too.

The cost is $5.00 per participant including leaders.  Cost covers a patch and all materials.

Merit badge books are not included.  Check-in will begin at 8:00 am, classes will begin at 9:00 am. Lunch will NOT be provided. You may bring a lunch or eat out. Lunch break will be between noon and 1:00 pm. Classes should conclude by 4:00 pm.
