Summer Camp at McKee

Summer camp is the highlight of the Scouting year! Camp McKee offers one of the best summer camp programs around, including a top-tier first year camper program, over fifty merit badges, and an exciting new high adventure program that includes trips to the nearby Red River Gorge. NEW MEDICAL FORMS FOR 2020!
The BSA National Office has updated the medical forms for 2020. The current form can be downloaded from the link below. Please make sure your Scouts are using the correct form (it will be marked 2019 Printing in the bottom right corner of the page) because we will not be able to accept older versions at camp.

BSA Medical Form (A, B, C) 
Every Scout and adult are REQUIRED to have an updated medical form (parts A, B, and C). The exam date must be within 12 months of their departure from camp. Older forms will NOT be accepted.

  • Provisional Camper Registration Form - Page 41 - This program allows Scouts to attend summer camp even if they can't attend with their troop. Provisional campers will be placed with a host troop which is attending camp the same week.

High Adventure Forms

All Scouts who will be attending a high adventure program OR going on the one-day climbing outpost to the Red River Gorge, must have the following forms signed by a parent or guardian.

Scouts who are attending the week long high adventure programs on weeks 1-3 or the Ranger Week on week 4 will also need the following forms signed to participate.

More form links from our contracted program vendors will be added  as they become available (repelling, zip line, etc.)

 

This form must be completed before a Scout may be released early from summer camp.

Summer Camp Staff

Being on summer camp staff is an adventure unique in Scouting! Staff members are responsible for preparing, running, and supporting the camp program. Only on camp staff can you spend a summer at Camp McKee, making friends and learning valuable skills?and get paid for it!
